MOV : പിറ്റെയാണ്ടില്‍ രാജാക്കന്മാര്‍ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്ന കാലത്തു യോവാബ് സൈന്യബലത്തോടെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു അമ്മോന്യരുടെ ദേശത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കീട്ടു ചെന്നു രബ്ബയെ വളഞ്ഞു. ദാവീദോ യെരൂശലേമില്‍ തന്നേ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു. യോവാബ് രബ്ബയെ പിടിച്ചു നശിപ്പിച്ചു.
KJV : And it came to pass, that after the year was expired, at the time that kings go out [to battle,] Joab led forth the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and destroyed it.
YLT : And it cometh to pass, at the time of the turn of the year -- at the time of the going out of the messengers -- that Joab leadeth out the force of the host, and destroyeth the land of the sons of Ammon, and cometh in and beseigeth Rabbah -- David is abiding in Jerusalem -- and Joab smiteth Rabbah, and breaketh it down.
RV : And it came to pass, at the time of the return of the year, at the time when kings go out {cf15i to battle}, that Joab led forth the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. RSV : In the spring of the year, the time when kings go forth to battle, Joab led out the army, and ravaged the country of the Ammonites, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and overthrew it.
ASV : And it came to pass, at the time of the return of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that Joab led forth the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and overthrew it.
ESV : In the spring of the year, the time when kings go out to battle, Joab led out the army and ravaged the country of the Ammonites and came and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem. And Joab struck down Rabbah and overthrew it.
ERVEN : In the spring, Joab led the army of Israel out to battle. That was the time of year when kings went out to battle, but David stayed in Jerusalem. The army of Israel went to the country of Ammon and destroyed it. Then they went to the city of Rabbah. The army camped around the city—they stayed there to keep people from going in or out of the city. Joab and the army of Israel fought against the city of Rabbah until they destroyed it.

MOV : ദാവീദ് അവരുടെ രാജാവിന്റെ കിരീടം അവന്റെ തലയില്‍നിന്നു എടുത്തു; അതിന്റെ തൂക്കം ഒരു താലന്തു പൊന്നു എന്നു കണ്ടു; അതില്‍ രത്നങ്ങളും പതിച്ചിരുന്നു; അതു ദാവീദിന്റെ തലയില്‍ വെച്ചു; അവന്‍ ആ പട്ടണത്തില്‍ നിന്നു അനവധി കൊള്ളയും കൊണ്ടുപോന്നു.
KJV : And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and [there were] precious stones in it; and it was set upon David’s head: and he brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.
YLT : And David taketh the crown of their king from off his head, and findeth it [in] weight a talent of gold, and in it a precious stone, and it is on the head of David: and spoil of the city he hath brought out very much,
RV : And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it; and it was set upon David-s head: and he brought forth the spoil of the city, exceeding much.

ESV : And David took the crown of their king from his head. He found that it weighed a talent of gold, and in it was a precious stone. And it was placed on David's head. And he brought out the spoil of the city, a very great amount.
ERVEN : David took the crown from their king's head. That gold crown weighed about 75 pounds and there were valuable stones in it. The crown was put on David's head. Then David had a great many valuable things brought out of the city of Rabbah.

MOV : അവന്‍ അതിലെ ജനത്തെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ഈര്‍ച്ചവാളിന്നും മെതിവണ്ടിക്കും കോടാലിക്കും ആക്കി; ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് അമ്മോന്യരുടെ എല്ലാപട്ടണങ്ങളോടും ചെയ്തു. പിന്നെ ദാവീദും സകലജനവും യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോന്നു.
KJV : And he brought out the people that [were] in it, and cut [them] with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
YLT : and the people who [are] in it he hath brought out, and setteth to the saw, and to cutting instruments of iron, and to axes; and thus doth David to all cities of the sons of Ammon, and David turneth back, and all the people, to Jerusalem.
RV : And he brought forth the people that were therein, and cut {cf15i them} with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. And thus did David unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.

ERVEN : He brought out the people in Rabbah and forced them to work with saws, iron picks, and axes. He did the same thing to all the cities of the Ammonites. Then David and all the army went back to Jerusalem.

MOV : അതിന്റെശേഷം ഗേസെരില്‍വെച്ചു ഫെലിസ്ത്യരോടു യുദ്ധം ഉണ്ടായി; ആ സമയത്തു ഹൂശാത്യനായ സിബ്ബെഖായി മല്ലന്മാരുടെ മക്കളില്‍ ഒരുത്തനായ സിപ്പായിയെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു; പിന്നെ അവര്‍ കീഴടങ്ങി.
KJV : And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Philistines; at which time Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Sippai, [that was] of the children of the giant: and they were subdued.
YLT : And it cometh to pass, after this, that there remaineth war in Gezer with the Philistines, then hath Sibbechai the Hushathite smitten Sippai, of the children of the giant, and they are humbled.
RV : And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Philistines: then Sibbecai the Hushathite slew Sippai, of the sons of the giant: and they were subdued.
RSV : And after this there arose war with the Philistines at Gezer; then Sibbecai the Hushathite slew Sippai, who was one of the descendants of the giants; and the Philistines were subdued.

ESV : And after this there arose war with the Philistines at Gezer. Then Sibbecai the Hushathite struck down Sippai, who was one of the descendants of the giants, and the Philistines were subdued.
ERVEN : Later, the Israelites fought a war with the Philistines at the town of Gezer. At that time Sibbecai from Hushah killed Sippai, who was one of the sons of the giants. So those Philistines became like slaves to the Israelites.

MOV : പിന്നെയും ഫെലിസ്ത്യരോടു യുദ്ധം ഉണ്ടായപ്പോള്‍ യായീരിന്റെ മകനായ എല്‍ഹാനാന്‍ ഗിത്യനായ ഗൊല്യാഥിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ ലഹ്മിയെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു. അവന്റെ കുന്തത്തണ്ടു നെയ്ത്തുകാരന്റെ പടപ്പുതടിപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.
KJV : And there was war again with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spear staff [was] like a weaver’s beam.
YLT : And there is again war with the Philistines, and Elhanan son of Jair smiteth Lahmi, brother of Goliath the Gittite, the wood of whose spear [is] like a beam of weavers.
RV : And there was again war with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver-s beam.

ERVEN : Another time when the Israelites fought against the Philistines, Elhanan son of Jair killed Lahmi. Lahmi was Goliath's brother. Goliath was from the town of Gath. Lahmi's spear was very big and heavy. It was like the large pole on a loom.

MOV : വീണ്ടും ഗത്തില്‍വെച്ചു യുദ്ധം ഉണ്ടായി; അവിടെ ദീര്‍ഘകായനായ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവന്നു ഔരോ കൈകൂ ആറാറുവിരലും ഔരോ കാലിന്നു ആറാറു വിരലും ആകെ ഇരുപത്തിനാലു വിരല്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവനും രാഫെക്കു ജനിച്ചവനായിരുന്നു.
KJV : And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of [great] stature, whose fingers and toes [were] four and twenty, six [on each hand,] and six [on each foot:] and he also was the son of the giant.
YLT : And there is again war in Gath, and there is a man of measure, and his fingers and his toes [are] six and six, twenty and four, and also, he hath been born to the giant.
RV : And there was again war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six {cf15i on each hand}, and six {cf15i on each foot}; and he also was born unto the giant.
RSV : And there was again war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature, who had six fingers on each hand, and six toes on each foot, twenty-four in number; and he also was descended from the giants.

ESV : And there was again war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature, who had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, twenty-four in number, and he also was descended from the giants.
ERVEN : Later, the Israelites fought another war with the Philistines at the town of Gath. In this town there was a very large man. He had 24 fingers and toes. He had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot. He also was a son of the giants.

MOV : അവന്‍ യിസ്രായേലിനെ ധിക്കരിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ ദാവീദിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ ശിമെയയുടെ മകനായ യോനാഥാന്‍ അവനെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു.
KJV : But when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea David’s brother slew him.
YLT : And he reproacheth Israel, and smite him doth Jonathan son of Shimea, brother of David.
RV : And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea David-s brother slew him.
RSV : And when he taunted Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea, David's brother, slew him.
ASV : And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea Davids brother slew him.
ESV : And when he taunted Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea, David's brother, struck him down.
ERVEN : So when that man made fun of Israel, Jonathan killed him. Jonathan was Shimea's son. Shimea was David's brother.

MOV : ഇവര്‍ ഗത്തില്‍ രാഫെക്കു ജനിച്ചവര്‍ ആയിരുന്നു; അവര്‍ ദാവീദിന്റെയും അവന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെയും കയ്യാല്‍ പട്ടുപോയി.
KJV : These were born unto the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
